In addition to their previous experience, our caregivers receive continuous training that includes a specialized curriculum exclusive to Affordable Senior Care of New York LLC. We have stringent requirements, which include: phone screening, in-depth interviews, criminal background checks, RMV checks, physicians’ health statements, and professional reference checks.
All candidates must pass a timed, written knowledge and competency exam. Additionally, candidates must pass a communication proficiency test. These tests are mandated by the State. There are other tools that help us carefully select the highest caliber caregivers.
